Chard Road Runners

Based in Chard, Somerset, England Athletics affiliated club established in 1981

We are a running club with a difference, based in Chard, Somerset, we offer England Athletics affiliation and a monthly bake off competition.

Based out of Chard Cricket Club, we have 2 club nights both starting at 7pm.

Showers and bar are open afterwards on Tuesday and the last Tuesday of the month sees our club handicap race and our monthly bake off competition.

Tuesday has up to three pace/distance groups. Which usually cover 5-6 miles in the slowest group and 10 ish miles in the fastest group. 

Thursday is suitable for beginners, improvers and those who just prefer a shorter, slower run although everyone is welcome.

Our next couch to 5k course starts 9th April 7pm at the Cricket club finishing in time for the Neroche 5k. One hour weekly sessions. 18+ free to join, medal at the end, for mor info email chardroadrunners@hotmail.com
